I know that this is a great piece of kit because I walked the Pennine Way with it in 2010 and it was extremely useful, especially when trying to find the nearest pub in the dark. As you can see from the photo I have just taken, it is working just fine and is in extremely good condition as I have taken very good care of it. As a bonus, it has a bundled data cable so you can connect the device up to your computer and add in waymarker information before your trip, which is a much quicker and easier method than using the interface on the screen. In fact (if I remember correcty) you can program in your entire route before you leave and you'll never get lost. Maybe that's not so adventurous, I got lost a couple of times which was all great fun, but if things were to get serious, you can use this to get you out of trouble.It's reliable, rugged and no-nonsense, which is exactly what you need when you're in  the dark, it's raining and you're not sure where the path is.I don't have any of the original packaging, so what you see is what you get, the handset and data cables, but I will pack it very carefully and send it first class recorded.
